The purchase of any product from hixpune constitutes a technical agreement between the consumer and Derek David OGorman.
- Product Nature: Due to the handcrafted nature of hixpune candles, slight variations in wax crystallization (frosting) or surface texture are technical characteristics of natural vegetable waxes and do not constitute defects.
- Fire Safety Mandate: Upon purchase, the consumer assumes responsibility for the safe operation of the product. hixpune provides a safety guide with every unit; failure to follow “burn protocols” (such as wick trimming) absolves Derek David OGorman of liability for misuse.
- Cancellations and Returns: For hygiene and safety reasons, burned or altered candles cannot be returned. Technical defects must be reported with photographic evidence within 48 hours of delivery.
- Jurisdiction: Any legal disputes shall be settled in the courts of Cavan, Ireland.
